Soft skills

SSADM (Structured Systems Analysis and Design Method)
Is a set of standards developed in the early 1980s for systems analysis and application design, it is extensively used for the government computing projects in the United Kingdom. SSADM however uses a combination of text and diagrams throughout the entire life cycle of a system design, starting from the early design idea to the actual physical design of the application.
SSM (Soft Systems Methodology)
Is a qualitative procedure that could be used for applying Systems Thinking to non-systemic state or problems. It is however a way of dealing with problem situations in which there is a high social, political and human activity module in a ST-way, while acknowledging that such problems are in fact too complex to be considered simple system.
HSM, Hybrid methodologies
It is one that merges elements of both native and Web applications. Furthermore native applications are developed for a precise platform and installed on a computing device and web applications are thereby generalized for various platforms and it is not installed locally but however made accessible over the Internet through a browser. Hybrid apps are frequently mentioned in the context of mobile computing.
The DSDM Consortium provides certification of individuals and accreditation of training courses.
The aim of personal certification is two-fold: To allow individuals to demonstrate their ability and have their competence assessed by others who are knowledgeable and experienced in this area. To provide an organization with an independent measure of a person’s knowledge and ability.
